Warranty Policy

All warranty services include technical support via email (support@safemo.com) and the Safemo App. Safemo offers two levels of warranty services: the standard warranty and Safemo Warranty+. Below is a comparison of the key benefits each service provides, helping you choose the right protection for your product.

  1. Warranty Period
    1. Safemo offers a 1-year limited warranty for all new products purchased through Amazon.
    2. By registering for the Safemo Warranty+ service, you will receive additional protection, including a 45-day no-questions-asked return policy and an extended 2-year warranty.
    3. The warranty period for replacement units continues from the original date of purchase and will be extended for the number of whole days the product has been out of the buyer’s hands for warranty repairs.
  2. Geographic Coverage
    1. Safemo’s warranty services currently cover the United States and Canada. Safemo Warranty+ services are limited to the United States. Warranty policies in other regions will follow Amazon’s platform policies. As we expand our business, Safemo will adjust and update warranty policies to accommodate new sales regions, ensuring consistent and high-quality service for all customers.
  3. Warranty Forfeiture
    1. The warranty will be voided in the following cases:
      • Products are marked as "sample," "Not for Sale," or sold "AS IS," or sent to you as a "prototype."
      • Products are purchased from unauthorized distributors or resellers.
      • Trademarks, serial tags, or product stickers have been removed, altered, or tampered with.
      • Products are dismantled, mishandled, improperly used, or defaced.
      • Firmware is upgraded without the guidance of an authorized technician.
      • Damage results from an accident, dismantling, abuse, or service or modification by someone other than the appointed vendor, or the spare part has exceeded the warranty period.
      • Products are damaged due to improper working environment or operation, such as improper temperature, humidity, unusual physical or electrical stress or interference, failure or fluctuation of electrical power, static electricity, using the wrong power adapter, etc.
      • Products are damaged due to the violation of battery handling and usage directions.
      • Products are damaged due to force majeure, natural disasters, etc.
      • The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is not transferable.
  4. Limitation of Liability
    1. Safemo is not responsible for any extra warranty or commitment promised by resellers, agents, distributors, or any other third parties. If they promised you extra commitments or warranties, please ask for written documentation to protect your rights.
    2. In addition to the above warranty forfeiture cases, Safemo shall not be responsible for any consequential, incidental, exemplary, or special damages, including any damages for lost data or lost profiles, arising from or related to this limited warranty or the product. Safemo's total cumulative liability arising from or related to this limited warranty or the product will not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the product.

Return & Refund Policy

  1. Unwanted Products (No Quality Issues)
    1. If the product you purchased directly from Safemo does not meet your expectations or is not suitable for your installation scenario, but has not been confirmed as defective by Safemo certified technicians, such a product is considered "unwanted."
    2. You may return the unwanted product within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund or replacement. By registering for Safemo Warranty+ service, this period is extended to 45 days. The shipping fees for returns will be borne by the buyer.
  2. Defective Products (Non-Artificial Damage)
    1. If you discover a defect in the product (non-artificial damage) within 30 days of receiving it, you can return it to Safemo for a full refund or replacement, with all shipping fees covered by Safemo. By registering for Safemo Warranty+ service, the return period is extended to 45 days.
    2. After 30 days but within the warranty period, you may choose a replacement or repair, but a full refund is not available. You are responsible for the shipping fees to return the product to Safemo, and Safemo will cover the shipping fees for the new replacement or repaired unit.
  3. Artificially Damaged Products
    1. If the product is damaged due to artificial causes, a refund is not available. Within 30 days of receiving the product, you may choose to replace or repair it, but you will need to pay service charges, shipping fees, and other related costs.
  4. Return Packaging Requirements
    1. The product must be returned in its original packaging.
    2. All accessories, documentation, and standard certification labels must be intact, including but not limited to brand labels, barcodes, user manuals, etc.
    3. The product must be free from any permanent modifications or damage, including but not limited to paint, severed wires or cables, or removed screws or seals.

How to Return

  1. Return Process
    1. You can submit your return request via email (support@safemo.com) or through the Safemo App, initiating the request and providing all necessary details.
    2. Upon receiving your returned product, Safemo will conduct a thorough inspection to ensure it meets all Return Packaging Requirements. If the product fails to meet the criteria, the return may be refused or subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%.
  2. Shipping & Logistics
    1. For your own benefit, it is recommended to use a traceable carrier and obtain delivery confirmation. Safemo is not responsible for any loss or damage to the product during transit.
    2. International customers may be subject to duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. Customers are responsible for all incurred fees.

Missing Parts Policy

  • If your order was not delivered or if the product arrived damaged, please contact Safemo customer support. We will assist you in replacing any missing parts and arranging for the delivery of the replacements.
  • If your product was damaged or incomplete due to external damage, please retain all internal and external packaging as it is required when we file a shipping claim with the carrier service used to ship your order.

Additional Support & Services

  • At this time, Safemo does not offer a paid extended warranty or VIP customer support. However, you can take advantage of our free Warranty+ service, which is available once you register.

Future Sales Channel Expansion

  • If Safemo expands to other sales channels and regions in the future, our after-sales policy will be adjusted accordingly to meet the requirements of these new channels and regions. We are committed to ensuring that you receive consistent and high-quality after-sales service, no matter where you make your purchase.
