Before buying this security camera, I did extensive research on various name brands. Cost was important but so was value and also customer technical service support. I chose Safemo because of the all the great technical specifications that the camera has and, above all that, their customer support is the best. They replied very quickly to my emails when I had questions or technical issues setting up the cameras and they were always ready, willing and able to help.Price is a big consideration when looking to buy however, customer service support is also very important. I'm so happy that I went with Safemo and I highly recommend them. Their cameras are top notch and very much worth it!

I’ve been using the Safemo 4K camera system for a couple of months, and it’s clear this is a well-thought-out product. The 4K quality is top-notch, and the hardware design stands out with practical details like a removable battery and a cable winder on the solar panel. Local storage with AI analysis is a big plus for me—I avoid subscription fees and don’t have to worry about my data going to the cloud. The solar panel has been great too; I haven’t had to charge the system at all in the Bay Area.The setup does take some patience, especially configuring the hub and cameras, and the manual could be clearer with so many components in the kit. I also wish shared users had admin permissions, but I’ve been told this is being worked on.Overall, it’s a solid product with thoughtful design and privacy-focused features. While there’s room for improvement, it’s already a strong contender. I’m giving five stars to encourage further updates and improvements—excited to see how it evolves!

This solar-powered outdoor camera is a fantastic value. The solar panel keeps the camera charged, so there's no need to worry about batteries. The motion detection is reliable, sending notifications only when necessary. I'm impressed with the performance of this new brand, especially since there are no monthly fees. I highly recommend it!

The resolution is fantastic, providing a level of detail I didn't expect. And the AI features are impressive. It’s smart enough to tell the difference between people, pets, and packages. I get real-time alerts that are actually useful, with way fewer false alarms than I’ve had with other cameras. For the price, this camera offers so much value. With higher quality, solar, fully wireless set-up, fee free quality viewing, all make this a great one to consider for your security needs. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – The solar panels, cameras and related hardware feel like they’re made of good quality materials. It’s not the best of the best, but better than most I’ve tested and more than sufficient to get the job done. It should last for a good amount of time in the elements, assuming the electronic survive.II. Set-up – This systems set-up will feel like a breeze compared to many other systems out there that isn’t wireless. Having solar power and wireless data feed, will save you so much time and effort on the install, you can’t even imagine. Another benefit is that if your power goes out, you don’t lose your security as well if you have the hub on a battery backup. You basically just mount them in a sunny spot and set-everything up through the app. Having the solar panels not attached to the cameras makes for more install locations.III. Performance – They’re actually pretty good cameras that’ll provide a clear view of any potential danger. They’re 4K with 8X zoom and an effective night vision. Being able to monitor everything from your phone and see all cameras on one screen, provides a clear and convenient way to monitor your castle. Each camera has a speaker and light to improve your deterrent abilities and the solar panel will keep it charged enough to always be on. I really like that the batteries are removable and replaceable. Surprisingly many have batteries that aren’t made to be serviceable, dramatically reducing the life of the camera. The hub only has 18GB of usable space, which is tragically small for this level of video, especially if it’s in a high motion area that will get triggered often. Fortunately, its expandable up to 4TB, saving the day for this systems functionality.Overall, this has been a great choice for me to add additional security measures and ways to monitor activities around the house. I’ve installed many security systems and this one was extremely easy and has provided me great performance with high quality. Camara clarity of 4K is excellent, sharp clear picture and video. Camera setting has many options. I would highly recommend these cameras. Excellent customer service that go above and beyond other companies. Sound quality, battery life, connectivity and solar are all very high quality.

I have been looking at surveillance systems for several years before deciding on Safemo. There are dozens of camera systems that you can buy and for less cost. However, I see this type of purchase as an investment in my home. Our home already has extensive fire and security systems installed. No issues while simultaneously using the app.- Integration with Alexa for easy viewing on larger screens. Very smooth and easy to do.- Expandable. Easily add or remove/relocate/rename cameras when needed.- Selectable video quality up to 4K resolution allowing you to generate quality videos with different resolution levels. Saves video storage space.- Photo option. Take photos from your phone.- No contracts or offsite storage and expandable with SSD. Avoids monthly fees and all data stays local.- Meets operational temperature ranges for the Northeastern US- Weatherproof and supports the harsh Northeastern US winters- Solar powered. Why run power when you don't have to? Battery power is rated at several months w/o charging.- Easy integration into our existing home's wireless network.- Configurable. The system must easily allow end user adjustments and "tuning" of system.- AI integration to help prevent nuisance notifications and identify other types.- Customer support. I contacted Safemo for what I thought was a battery problem. It wasn't, and I just needed to charge the battery longer (overnight). Support was timely and with clear responses. I've had the camera system for a bit now, and I ran into a small hiccup at first. My wife and I both wanted to monitor the cameras from our phones, but we found out you can't log into the same account on multiple devices at the same time. A bit frustrating, but I reached out to their customer support (which, by the way, was super responsive and helpful!), and they gave me a really simple solution. There's an option to share device access with other users. After setting it up, my wife can now view the live feed, check recordings, and get alerts on her phone just like I can. It was a simple fix, and we've had no issues since!I also have to mention how much I love the Alexa integration. Once I connected the system to Alexa, it became even easier to control. Now I can just ask Alexa to show me the live feed from any of the cameras, which is really handy when I'm busy around the house.Overall, the system's been easy to use and gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Bought this security camera for outdoor. The camera has pretty wide angle, and versatile monitoring options, including set monitor zones, schedule, various of object detections. And all these features are built in, requiring no subscription. This kind of offsets it being relatively pricey.

I have been using the Safemo system for about two months now and I have to say I am impressed. First off the body is sleek, modern and looks great when mounted on my house. It feels solid and you can tell it is made of good quality materials. Setting up is super easy. The hub and cameras instantly connect with no fuss at all. One of the smoothest setup I had experienced on security systems I have installed. The app is simple and intuitive. The image quality is really good especially for a wireless camera. The 4k resolution makes everything look sharp even at night. The color night feature is super cool- itCatches details I didn’t expect even at low light conditions. Battery- very good life and didn’t require much charging before I installed the solar panel. Now with the panel it is all smooth sailing with no need to manually charge!The big surprise was they rolled out new features such as familiar face recognition and multi-cam tracking after I bought it. Great to see companies keep improving their products. The features I like the most is the security mode feature . It is a simple way to control all my hub and cameras at once. Super convenient. You can switch between modes depending on what you need ar the moments. For example when I am home I can set it to a less active mode so it doesn’t alert me constantly. But when I leave I can switch to more secure mode so it actively monitors everything. All can be done with a single tap. Overall very pleased with the set. Everything from the hardware to software have been solid and the update and enhancements are just icing on the cake. If you are on the fence, I’d say go for it!

Once I finally got everything set up to my liking this were well worth the money. Just takes a while to get it tweaked to your liking. I like the fact that I was able to add a hard drive and not pay a subscription for my videos. Batteries have been at a 100% since installing them almost 2 months ago. They have that Texas sun charging them.
